David enjoys painting various subjects including figures, still lifes and landscapes. He tries to capture the intimate aspects in his paintings and makes the painting say more than just the objects being painted. David also strives to say as much as he can about a subject with the fewest brush strokes. "I never cease to be amazed at how a few well placed brush strokes can say so much" he says. David Koch has exhibited at Art & Soup for the past several years. He enjoys painting a wide variety of subjects and is always looking for what the next painting wil reveal.
Willie Holdman is a native Utahn and started experiencing the wonders of nature at an early age by assisting his father on photography assignments for National Geographic through out the country. He managed to slip out and photograph the rural areas of Utah while at Brigham Yung University where he received his BFA degree with an emphasis in photography. Being in business for 17 years now has enabled him to collect the most extensive images of Utah in the state.
Yevgeniy V. Zolotsev was born in Russia into a family of
artists. Encouraged and guided early on by his family, he studied art at Tambov Art
College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree. He became a member of the
prestigious Union of Free Artists in St. Petersburg and displayed regularly in St.
Petersburg and Germany before his immigration to the United States.
In the tradition of all masters, his work speaks to his own inner voice trying to bring to
life his dramatic visions. His stark contrasts of bold aggressive colors demonstrate
the power of his greatest love - nature in all her glory. Water and sky bring out
his greatest inspiration and passion. What we see only with our eyes, he sees with
his heart, transcending the to often superficial vision of the common man.

ANGELA BENTLEY FIFE

and connecting with the viewer.
